We’re less than one month away from the upcoming edition of the NFL Draft.
That means it’s officially time to make predictions and talk about the prospects and who might outplay their draft stock and whatnot.
With that in mind, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky shared his thoughts on this quarterback class.
Once again, the former Detroit Lion stated that Jayden Daniels, not Caleb Williams, was the best quarterback in this class.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he argued that Williams is obviously incredibly talented, but that doesn’t make him the best quarterback out there.

He thinks that Jayden Daniels has the traits that make for a consistent and good quarterback in the National Football League, which are decision-making and ball placement.
He also stated that Daniels was clearly the best player on the field in multiple big games against top-notch rivals, so he showed an ability to rise to the occasion and proved that his team could rely on him when it mattered the most.
Daniels has been projected to go No. 2 for most of the draft process, with some analysts thinking he could slip to No. 3, with Drake Maye taking his spot.
He’s not likely to go No. 1 overall, as the Chicago Bears seem to be locked in on Caleb Williams.
That sets the table for an interesting rivalry and countless comparisons throughout the course of their entire careers, and it’ll be interesting to see who ends up having a better career once it’s all said and done.
