The Dallas Cowboys were analyzed under a microscope throughout the offseason, a trend that has continued into the regular season.
After their collapse during the playoffs and a recent blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Cowboys are trending downward in the eyes of the public.
However, a few analysts have put together some suggestions for the Cowboys for the rest of the season.
Dan Orlovsky highlighted his frustration about CeeDee Lamb’s usage on “First Take.”
“If you’re not going to use CeeDee Lamb as a No. 1 wide receiver, trade him,” Orlovsky said.
He may not be a bonafide #1
But he’s your #1 and can be a top 20 WRUSE HIM!!!!! https://t.co/QZhNMm4UgD

Lamb was taken in the first round for a reason.
He was a highly touted receiver in a strong class, but Orlovsky believes he has been underutilized this season.
The Cowboys’ offense has been strong at times, putting up 30+ points in three of five games this year.
Despite a strong output, Lamb’s services haven’t been called upon as much as many would like them to be.
Lamb has been targeted 35 times this season.
While this is the most amount of targets among Cowboys’ pass-catchers, he doesn’t have a large percentage of the target share that he has been given in years past.
Jake Ferguson has been targeted 28 times, and Michael Gallup and Tony Pollard have each been targeted 22 times.
While Dak Prescott needs to spread the ball around to be efficient, he also needs to put the ball into the hands of his best playmaker.
Many Cowboys fans and analysts like Orlovsky agree as this would likely result in better outcomes.
