The Las Vegas Raiders need a quarterback.
Signing Gardner Minshew was a good move if they want him to be a backup or a placeholder while they develop a young guy.
But, with all due respect to him, he’s not a starting-caliber player in the National Football League.
With that in mind, it seems like star WR Davante Adams has already set his sights on an elite prospect.
He sounded the alarms when he took to Instagram to shout out to LSU prospect Jayden Daniels (via B/R Gridiron).

Of course, there’s always a possibility that he’s just shouting out a young player who’s about to make his dream come true, but it doesn’t seem coincidental.
The Raiders need a guy, and Daniels might as well be it.
Then again, it’s hard to envision them being able to trade up high enough to get him.
Daniels has been either No. 2 or No. 3 on most draft boards, and both the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots are in big need of a new quarterback.
Both teams have also said that as much as they’ll look to get a QB, they don’t know if they’ll do it with their first-round pick.
Needless to say, that could be just them trying not to show their hand.
But if there’s a chance to get one of those picks, the Raiders should most definitely be all over it and trying to get a deal done as soon as possible.
He already has Adams’ stamp of approval.
