The Houston Astros lost at home against the Texas Rangers on Monday.
Now, the defending MLB World Series champs are in a 0-2 hole in the American League Championship Series after dropping Game 1 on Sunday as well.
Turning around a series after losing the first two games at home is a tall task, but counting the Astros out would be a big mistake by Texas.
Hall of Famer and current analyst Derek Jeter made an important point in the broadcast: losing the first two games doesn’t necessarily mean the series is over.
However, he was met with a hilarious comeback by former nemesis and Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz.
Derek Jeter: “Just because [the Astros] are down two games, it’s not over. We’ve lost a series being up 3-0.”

Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, two former New York Yankees stars, couldn’t help but laugh at Ortiz’s comment.
Of course, Ortiz is referring to the 2004 American League Championship Series.
The Yankees had a 3-0 advantage but ended up losing four straight to become the first team in American professional sports history to throw away a 3-0 lead in a best-of-seven series.
That was a turning point in the Yankees – Red Sox rivalry, and Ortiz, Rodriguez, and Jeter were all present.
In fact, Ortiz was the MVP of that ALCS, and carried the Red Sox with crucial hit after crucial hit.
The Red Sox went on to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series to break an 86-year World Series drought in impressive fashion.
