The San Francisco 49ers have been without one of their top skill-position players for the past two weeks.
After suffering a shoulder injury, Deebo Samuel’s presence has been missed during the 49ers’ three-game skid.
While his timeline to return to play has been largely unknown, Samuel offered an update on “Up and Adams,” saying, “I’m ready to go.”

Whether Kyle Shanahan lets him suit up in the 49ers’ upcoming matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars remains to be seen.
However, given the Jaguars game is after the 49ers’ Week 9 bye, it looks increasingly likely that Samuel will be able to go.
With the 49ers’ recent struggles, many analysts have started to sour on them, specifically as potential NFC Champions.
While a three-game losing streak is not necessarily a death sentence on the 49ers’ chances for the rest of the year, they have shown that they are not invincible.
Brock Purdy has shown his inexperience lately, throwing more interceptions in a three-game stretch than he had in his prior five games.
The defense has given an uncharacteristically large number of points during that span, which is traditionally the unit that helps the 49ers stay in games.
If the 49ers lose to the Jaguars in Week 10, it might be time to panic.
For now, they are focused on their bye, hoping Samuel and the rest of the team can get back to full health.
If he is back on the offense, ready to contribute in a massive way, it could spell the start of a second-half comeback.
