Deion Sanders is not only considered to be one of the greatest athletes and NFL players in history.
He’s also become a favorite, even among non-sports fans, for his work inspiring young athletes and people overall.
Coach Prime usually uses his platform to spread positive and motivational messages, and he does so again early on Saturday.
He claimed that even though he used to be very, very fast, he could never run as fast when he was looking back.
He then encouraged people to use that as a metaphor for their own lives, urging them to share that message with someone they truly cared about.
Once upon a time I was EXTREMELY fast, I mean fast fast but I could NEVER run as fast as I could while Looking Back. I tried and I still could run but not as fast. Think about what I just said and explain it to someone that u truly care about. #CoachPrime

That’s a simple yet powerful message.
Being stuck in the past holds us back, and we shouldn’t look anywhere but ahead of us.
Sanders has become a sensation in the NCAA football scene not only because of what he was able to do at Jackson State and the turnaround he’s trying to orchestrate in Colorado, but also because of these kinds of things.
It goes way beyond football, as he takes pride in trying to teach those young players to become adults, and the way he’s been able to build relationships and bond with every single one of his players and staff members is what has made a true difference in both of those programs.
Sanders knows what it’s like to be at the top, but he’s also been through some dark times.
Still, it doesn’t make sense to dwell on the past with so much time ahead of him, and that’s something we could all relate to.
