Months ago, the Las Vegas Raiders decided to move on from Derek Carr.
Things didn’t end well between both parties, so Carr refused to do them any favors by waiving his no-trade clause, forcing them to release him.
The decision led to now-fired HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler, to pursue Jimmy Garoppolo as his replacement.
McDaniels, Ziegler, and Offensive Coordinator Mick Lombardi couldn’t even make it to Week 9 this season, proving that, perhaps, Carr was never the problem in the first place.
However, when asked his thoughts about the situation, the New Orleans Saints signal-caller had a classy response, sending his heart out to those who were let go and to his former teammates, who will now have to deal with yet another major change (via NOF Network and Wifi Willie).

Carr was always praised for his leadership, and despite some shortcomings, he was in full control and had the support of his locker room.
Carr was visually hurt by being let go by the Raiders, as he always thought he was going to spend his entire career with the organization.
He hasn’t fared well with the Saints, but it’s not like he’s been put in a position to succeed, either.
Dennis Allen has also left something to be desired as a head coach, and Pete Carmichael Jr.’s offense isn’t exactly explosive by any means.
