The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a very important offseason.
Their three best players in Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and CeeDee Lamb are all hoping to earn a contract extension that will keep them in Dallas for the foreseeable future.
Some developments with Lamb’s contract talks have recently been reported on by insider Josina Anderson.
According to Anderson, talks between Lamb and the team are expected to “speed up” after Vikings All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson was able to sign a historic extension with Minnesota.
I’m told talks between the #Cowboys and WR Cee Dee Lamb are expected to “speed up”–beyond its previous pace– since “there’s at least a number” with the announcement of #Vikings WR Justin Jefferson’s record-setting non-quarterback contract extension today, per source. pic.twitter.com/89A4iTHzEv

Now, Jerry Jones has to decide where he wants to spend his money.
Does he want to hand out another big deal to his Pro Bowl quarterback in Prescott?
Or, maybe he wants to give a massive deal to one of the best overall players in the league in edge-rusher Micah Parsons.
Perhaps Jones could find a way to pay all three.
But, Lamb is one of the top receivers in the league.
Without him, Prescott might not be the same player.
In his first four NFL seasons, Lamb has made three Pro Bowls and has been voted to two All-Pro teams.
The former Oklahoma Sooner is coming off of his best season as a pro.
He led the league in receptions with 135 and set career-highs in receiving yards (1,749) and touchdown catches (12).
He appears to be the next great No. 88 to come through the doors in Dallas.
If Jerry Jones wants his team to have a great passing attack, it would be smart to sign Lamb to a big extension.
