Coming into the 2023 NFL regular season, the Miami Dolphins were expected to be one of the best offenses in the NFL, with head coach Mike McDaniel steering this team in the right direction, as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had become a legitimate star in the league.
One of the reasons for Tagovailoa’s success in Miami is the weapons he has around him, as the Dolphins have arguably the best receiving corps in the NFL with the two-headed monster of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
As if this wasn’t enough for the Dolphins to be incredibly success on offense in 2023, the team got the added boost of veteran running back Raheem Mostert having the best season of his playing career on the professional level.
Before the 2023 campaign, the most touchdowns Mostert had ever scored in a season was 10, which he accomplished in 2019 with the San Francisco 49ers.
However, last season, Mostert took his game to another level entirely with the Dolphins, as he racked up more than twice his career-high total with 21 touchdowns.
With Mostert having the best season of his NFL career, the Dolphins restructured his contract this week and added another year, according to NFL agent Brett Tessler.
Happy to announce that we just redid Raheem Mostert’s contract with the Miami Dolphins and added an extra year which will keep him there through 2025. Nice reward for a Pro Bowl season!

Clearly, the Dolphins value what Mostert brings to the table, and after the season he had last year, it is easy to see why, as he brings another dynamic to what was already a potent offense.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Dolphins can take it to another level next season and become a legitimate title contender once again in the AFC.
