We’re still some months away from the start of the NFL season, but some guys seem to be ready to battle right away.
That might be the case with Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland, who didn’t waste a chance to take a big shot at his former defensive coordinator.
When asked about the biggest difference between Anthony Weaver and his predecessor in Vic Fangio, the veteran claimed that it was “a complete 180,” adding that the No. 1 thing is that Weaver is a good person (via Dov Kleiman).

Notably, this isn’t much of a surprise, as Fangio’s tenure in South Beach was short-lived, and there were reports about some players actually celebrating when he left to join the Philadelphia Eagles.
NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus also revealed that Fangio didn’t get along with several of his players.
Weaver surely knows how to get to the players, as he was a player of his own, and having a connection with the players could certainly make a huge difference.
The Dolphins have one of the best — if not the best — offenses in the game, but their defense has yet to catch up.
Perhaps Weaver will be able to bring the best out of them, all while Fangio tries to work his magic in the City of Brotherly Love, hoping he can get his new guys to buy in and enjoy working with him.
