After losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, there have been some questions as to the legitimacy of the Miami Dolphins‘ Super Bowl chances.
Everyone has been raving about the explosiveness of the Dolphins offense during the 2023 NFL season, with the hype hitting its peak after they dropped 70 points on the Denver Broncos.
However, in Miami’s losses to the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia, they were held to modest offensive outputs which shows that there are ways to slow them down.
The Eagles were able to cause Tua Tagovailoa fits in the passing game as the quarterback only managed 216 passing yards and one touchdown to go with one interception.
Tyreek Hill had 11 receptions, but he only mustered 88 yards and one touchdown during the game.
Hill remains the most important part of the Dolphins offense and it was concerning when he popped up on the injury report with a hip injury, via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hill has been banged up a few times during the regular season, though he’s managed to finish games.
The star wideout not practicing on Wednesday is a slight cause of concern, though the team could just be limiting his reps in order to keep him fresh for the second half of the season.
Fans shouldn’t stress out too much about Hill’s absence unless he misses both Thursday and Friday’s practices.
If Hill is able to at least get in a limited session toward the end of the week, then he should be good to go for Week 8 against the New England Patriots.
