The Miami Dolphins need to be almost perfect down the stretch if they don’t want their divisional title to slip right through their fingers.
Unfortunately for them, their most important player got hurt at the worst possible time.
Tyreek HIll suffered an ankle injury in the loss against the Tennessee Titans on Monday, and he hasn’t been able to get back to full strength yet.
According to Ari Meirov, Hill won’t practice at all this week and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s divisional tilt with the New York Jets.

To make things even more dramatic, Hill is only 458 yards shy of becoming the first wide receiver to get at least 2,000 receiving yards in a single season with just four games left in the schedule.
More than that, we’ve already seen how big of a hit the Dolphins offense takes when Hill isn’t on the field, with Tua Tagovailoa looking erratic and hesitant and Jaylen Waddle failing to step up and fill the void.
Hill has been the best wideout in the league — and perhaps even the best offensive player — by a significant margin this season, and he should be one of the leading MVP candidates.
That’s what makes it such a difficult decision for Mike McDaniel, as the Jets have an elite defense and could bang him up even further, but they might not even stand a chance to move the chains unless he’s out there, even if he’s just acting like a decoy most of the time.
