The Jacksonville Jaguars seem to be limping their way to the finish line.
Trevor Lawrence has been dealing with multiple ailments during the last month or so, and it shows in their 0-4 record.
Doug Pedeson’s team has failed to make the most of their advantage in the AFC South, and while they still depend on themselves to make the playoffs, they need to stop the bleeding now.
Lawrence is now dealing with a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder, and he also dealt with a concussion and a high ankle injury.
Notably, Cameron Wolfe reports that Lawrence returned to practice today but was a limited participant.
With that in mind, coach Pederson told the media that they’re going to be all-in on whoever starts, whether it’s Lawrence or C.J. Beathard, adding that it’s a ‘complicated situation.’
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (sprained AC joint in right throwing shoulder) returns to practice today as limited participant, HC Doug Pederson tells reporters.
Pederson: “If Trevor play, we’re all-in on that. If C.J. (Beathard) plays, we’re all in on that… it’s a tough decision.”

The Jaguars are set to face the sluggish Carolina Panthers, and they shouldn’t find a lot of trouble beating them, at least on paper.
Then again, they’ve been fairly disappointing over the past month, and with Lawrence clearly not at 100% still, it’s hard to keep trusting this team.
Perhaps they would be better off with Beathard at this point.
They only need him to play mistake-free football against a somewhat average defense, and they do have the running game to give him a hand if need be.
Also, that would give Lawrence an extra week to get healthy and ready in time for the playoffs.
