The 2024 NFL Draft is filled with several highly-touted prospects.
Many positions are said to be loaded, especially wide receiver and quarterback, which could make up a good portion of the first round.
It will be interesting to see which quarterbacks are selected in the first round and which teams take a chance on these upcoming prospects.
One of the most polarizing players regarding pre-draft analysis is Michael Penix Jr.
Some believe that Penix will be a first-rounder, but as insider Matt Miller has recently indicated on Twitter, he could fall to the second round.
If Penix does fall, Miller questioned his potential landing spot, asking, “Where is the fit?”
Michael Penix, Jr. draft stock is another really interesting domino. So many teams filled QB spots in free agency. If he’s a Round 2 player, and that’s what teams are saying, where is the fit?

Penix could end up similar to Will Levis from the 2023 draft class.
There was speculation about where Levis would land and what team would draft him.
Despite some hype, Levis fell to the second round, making for an awkward night for him and his family.
Penix arguably has a better resume than Levis did last season, but with his age and injury history in mind, teams could be hesitant to use first-round capital on him.
Many NFL teams need a new quarterback, which could drive up the price of a player like Penix, even with these factors in mind.
This year’s draft is said to be one of the most exciting in recent history, especially when considering the amount of receivers and quarterbacks on the board.
Luckily for fans, the big event is less than two months away, which will provide answers to their pressing questions.
