Wallace’s candid response came after interviewer Justin Melo confirmed that several NFL teams have expressed interest in the 6-5, 314-pound offensive lineman.
At the NFL combine, Wallace posted an impressive 9-foot, 8-inch broad jump while also finishing the 40-yard dash in 5.15 seconds, excellent numbers for an offensive lineman.
Wallace expressed how happy he was to get those measurements on film, proving his athletic ability for all NFL teams to see.
At the combine, Wallace finished with the 16th-best total score of any offensive lineman while posting the 8th-best athleticism score.
In addition to athleticism, Wallace attributes his experience as a three-year starter for Penn State as an advantage over other offensive linemen in the draft.
The prospect already had multiple top 30 visits, naming the Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, and San Francisco 49ers among the teams that have invited Wallace in for additional meetings prior to the draft.
Wallace cited his dedication to his craft and ability to solve problems as two of his best nonathletic attributes, skills that should translate well for him at the next level.
