The Las Vegas Raiders will head into the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft with the No. 13 overall pick and the team potentially favoring bringing in one of the best quarterbacks in this draft class filled with talent at the most important position on the football field.
All indications point to the Raiders wanting to draft reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, but it seems pretty clear that the former LSU star won’t be available beyond No. 3 overall at the latest, with the top-three teams in the draft likely selecting quarterbacks.
That said, the Raiders will have to make a massive trade to move up to No. 3 or higher in order to land Daniels, who has ties with head coach Antonio Pierce and has gotten an endorsement from superstar wide receiver Davante Adams.
With a blockbuster trade to move up being unlikely at this point, the Raiders may have to look in another direction with their first pick and the other picks to follow, with the defensive side of the football potentially being addressed.
It appears one player the Raiders have their eye on is defensive tackle Braden Fiske out of Florida State, as they brought him in for a visit this week, according to Tristen Kuhn of TWSN.

With the Raiders recently signing star defensive tackle Christian Watkins, Las Vegas is clearly trying to upgrade its defense around star defensive end Maxx Crosby, and Fiske might be another piece to the puzzle.
However, it remains to be seen what direction the team goes come draft day, as they could take a big swing at landing a quarterback.
