The Philadelphia Eagles have lost two consecutive games by double-digits and are at risk of losing the NFC East and the No. 1 seed in the conference.
They lost 42-19 to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 before being trounced by the Dallas Cowboys, 33-13, in Week 14.
Though the Eagles still have 10 wins on the year, the recent struggles – especially on defense – have drawn the ire of Philadelphia fans.
One young fan stood outside the Eagles’ team facility with a sign calling for the team to fire defensive coordinator Sean Desai as well as trash cans with the signs against cornerbacks Darius Slay and James Bradberry.

The Eagles defense has given up at least 33 points in each of the past three games – 34 to the Buffalo Bills, 42 to the 49ers, and 33 to the Cowboys – and the secondary has allowed at least 300 offensive yards in each game during that stretch.
For the season, Philadelphia’s defense ranks among the worst in the league: 28th in points allowed and 22nd in yards allowed.
These past two weeks have been the Eagles’ worst offensive outputs as well.
The Eagles failed to score an offensive touchdown in Week 14 for the first time all season.
The lone touchdown came on a defensive fumble recovery score from defensive tackle Jalen Carter.
This is the wrong time for the Eagles to start playing poorly, but their upcoming schedule is encouraging.
Philadelphia plays the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Giants twice in the final month of the year.
All three teams have losing records and might still have losing records when they play the Eagles.
But time is running out to turn it around before the playoffs.
