The Philadelphia Eagles have remained undefeated after three games despite not playing their best football.
They are finding ways to win despite their struggles.
Perhaps the cleats they are wearing each game give them a boost.
Speaking of which, Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown voiced his dissent against the league’s current rules for cleats.
“The rule sucks. I think all players should just wear whatever they wanna wear, they’re not gonna be able to fine everybody in the league. I think we should start that movement as players,” Brown said through ESPN’s Tim McManus via Eagles Nation on Twitter.

As McManus wrote, Brown wore “highlight green” cleats in the Eagles’ first two possessions.
However, their equipment manager warned the wide receiver to change cleats or pay a fine worth $7,000 for the first offense.
Per the NFL, players can wear cleats with black, white, or tertiary team colors during games.
They can wear any cleats during warmups, granted that it has no trademarked logos other than what the league approves (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour).
The cleats cannot contain offensive or political views.
However, the league allows players to wear cleats bearing references to their preferred causes during “My Cause, My Cleats” week.
Brown defended his move, saying that wearing flashy cleats helps his daughter quickly identify him on the field.
More important than his cleats, it seems that Brown has rediscovered his connection with quarterback Jalen Hurts.
After complaining for lack of touches, he had nine receptions for 131 yards in their victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Flashy cleats or not, A.J. Brown may have found his groove.
