A.J. Brown’s second season with the Philadelphia Eagles has gotten off to another hot start.
He continues to establish himself as a favorite target for Jalen Hurts, resulting in some of the best receiver stats in the league.
Brown was acquired by the Eagles ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft in a trade with the Tennessee Titans.
While Brown was drafted by the Titans, he recently revealed that the Titans were not necessarily his preferred destination.
In a recent episode of “Bussin’ With The Boys,” Brown shared that he cried when N’Keal was drafted ahead of him to the New England Patriots.
“They trippin’ like I don’t know what the hell is going on.”

Despite his first-round draft capital, Harry’s NFL career has not gotten off to an illustrious start.
Brown seemed to know that he was worthy of a first-round selection at the time, so it devastated him that Harry was taken ahead of him.
During this 2019 draft, Brown slipped to the second round, taken with the No. 51 pick.
Brown was the fourth receiver taken in this draft, behind Marquise Brown, Harry, and Deebo Samuel.
While Brown seemed upset at the time of the draft, it is water under the bridge for him at this point.
He has found a home with the Eagles and is now tied to Hurts for the foreseeable future.
Brown is currently second in the league for total receiving yards, trailing only Tyreek Hill in that category.
The Eagles have been extremely happy with their investment, and have continued to utilize Brown in a large capacity in this offense.
