In a stacked AFC, the Miami Dolphins are one of the few teams that can claim they’re Super Bowl contenders though they have a lot of doubters to prove wrong after their 2023 NFL season.
The Dolphins boasted the most explosive offense in the league, though they were unable to pick up wins against other postseason-bound teams.
Miami’s defense took a major hit over the regular season due to injuries, and the offense couldn’t pick up the slack.
Even with one of the best wideout duos in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins could use another option to flank them and take away some of the defensive attention.
One potential name the team could add is Odell Beckham Jr. who remains unsigned during this free agency period.
Miami’s been linked to Beckham though fans don’t seem too happy about potentially adding him via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
“The #Dolphins are trying “pretty hard” to sign free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr,” Fowler reported.

The Dolphins have made him at least one offer, but it could’ve been two. Both sides reportedly also remain in contact. pic.twitter.com/cwoF5XRh9w

Beckham spent 2023 with the Baltimore Ravens and looked healthy, though his numbers aren’t impressive at first glance on paper.
The former star receiver appeared in 14 games for Baltimore and recorded 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns, modest production for a player of his caliber.
At this point in his career, Beckham is more of a complementary piece in the passing game but can still help a team in a smaller role.
The Dolphins appear to be the favorites to sign him, though Beckham will need to prove he can contribute if he wants to change fans’ opinions.
