One of the coolest things about the NFL and sports as a whole is the power that athletes have to inspire others.
Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley exercised that power when he recently showed up to a local flag football game in Philadelphia.
He signed autographs and took pictures with fans.

Fans are really happy about seeing one of the stars of the game celebrating the younger generation, and they are very hopeful for a great first season in Philly for Barkley.

Look for Barkley to continue his superstardom in the City of Brotherly Love in 2024.
The former Giant signed a three-year deal earlier this offseason after six years in New York.
The team needed a new running back after 1,000-yard rusher D’Andre Swift signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent.
In comes Barkley, who is coming off of a resurgent 2023 season.
The former Offensive Rookie of the Year recorded 1,242 scrimmage yards and 10 total touchdowns in the final year of his Giants tenure.
In his six years in the Big Apple, he recorded three 1,000-yard rushing seasons and four seasons with at least 1,200 scrimmage yards.
After battling some injuries over the last few years, he is back to being an elite back.
Now, he will look to form a great QB-RB duo with Pro-Bowler Jalen Hurts.
With 1,000-yard wide receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, this Nick Sirianni offense has the potential to be top-tier.
If that is what they become, a Super Bowl could be on the horizon in Philly once again.
