The Baltimore Ravens kicked off training camp this week and will look to prepare for a huge 2024 season where the expectation will be to compete for a Super Bowl.
The Ravens came close in 2023 to getting back to the championship game, but fell just short against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
However, the loss shouldn’t take away from what Baltimore was able to accomplish as they were arguably the best overall team in 2023.
Lamar Jackson had another strong year and was named the NFL MVP for the second time in his career, proving he belongs in the conversation for the best quarterback in the league.
Jackson was unfortunately forced to miss the first few days of training camp after being diagnosed with an illness.
However, he was able to make his return to the field and received much fanfare from the Ravens faithful via the Ravens’ official Twitter account.

Jackson is seen running out to the field last behind his teammates and coaches and daps up the fans lined up to see him.
There was a lot of cheering at the sight of the reigning MVP and for good reason as it was concerning he sat out to begin the week.
There didn’t seem to be too much concern over what Jackson was dealing with and the team seemed to be acting out of precaution given this point of training camp.
However, it appears that all systems are a go for Jackson and it will be exciting to see what he can do with this team in 2024.
