Odell Beckham Jr. proved to the Baltimore Ravens that he can still be an impactful wide receiver when healthy as he helped the team capture the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Beckham went unsigned during the 2022 NFL campaign as he recovered from an ACL tear he suffered in Super Bowl LVI, but he eventually landed in Baltimore on a one-year deal.
There were questions about how much Beckham had left in him after suffering some devastating injuries, but he showed he can still turn upfield and make plays with the football in his hands.
Alongside Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews, and Rashod Bateman, Beckham was able to elevate the passing game and help turn Lamar Jackson back into an MVP frontrunner.
However, Beckham did have several offers on the table, including one from the New York Jets.
Beckham revealed that he wanted to go back to New York and fans believed that it wouldn’t have changed much for him and the team via the Punch Line Podcast
“In my heart, I was set to go back to New York and be a Jet,” Beckham said.

Beckham would’ve been paired with Aaron Rodgers, but their partnership might’ve ended quickly given Rodgers’ Achilles injury.
The wideout would’ve surely been a fan favorite back in New York, but the Jets’ dysfunctional offense could’ve actually hurt Beckham’s value once he hit free agency again.
By all accounts, Beckham made the right decision to sign with the Ravens and he now has a chance to compete for another Super Bowl championship.
