The Tennessee Titans will be one of the teams in search of a new head coach in 2024 after the team and Mike Vrabel separated Tuesday after six seasons.
Vrabel finished this season with his worst record as a head coach as the Titans failed to make the postseason for the second consecutive season.
Fans of the Titans and the NFL were a bit surprised by the decision given Vrabel’s recent success but had conflicting views on whether or not this was a good move by the team, as well as possible landing spots for the coach.
As a Texans fan
I am happy cause honestly if they had a better QB during his time, they reach the SB. Damn good coach— CJ Anderson SzN (@AyooTexanNation) January 9, 2024
Vrabel did a great job for awhile but it was his time go. Look at what happened to Henry.

The Titans are such a joke. Makes me feel bad for Levis.

Vrabel enjoyed three consecutive playoff appearances from 2019-2021 and two consecutive AFC South titles during that span but couldn’t contend for a Super Bowl.
He reportedly clashed with former general manager Jon Robinson as well before the Titans fired him and hired Ran Carthon this past offseason.
The Titans appear to be in a sort of transitionary or rebuilding phase as well with Carthon at the helm.
The team released a lot of veteran talent this past offseason and are likely to move on from running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill this spring.
Tennessee should become one of the more intriguing head coaching vacancies on the market with a young quarterback in Will Levis, a veteran wideout in DeAndre Hopkins, and some solid pieces across the rest of the roster.
Vrabel, too, might be one of the best head coaching candidates because of his experience relative to the rest of the field of applicants.
