One of the neatest things that can happen at the NFL level is when one franchise legend hands down advice to a future franchise legend.
That is what happened when legendary Bears running back Matt Forte recently met up with No. 1 overall pick and starting quarterback Caleb Williams.
In a recent appearance on Up & Adams, Forte revealed what he said to Williams.
“I told him that when I came in, I used to watch the guys that were All-Pros…You gotta have some kind of routine…You gotta be consistent,” Forte said.

Forte himself was a pretty consistent player at running back for eight seasons in Chicago.
The former second-round pick rushed for 1,000 yards five times and had over 1,200 scrimmage yards in each of those eight seasons.
He was trying to hand down some of what he learned at his position to another possible star at another position in Williams.
The former USC Trojan already seems to have great preparation considering what he did in college for both Oklahoma and USC.
Over his three collegiate seasons, he recorded a total of 120 scrimmage touchdowns and just 14 interceptions.
In fact, these are the types of numbers that Bears fans have been waiting for.
Forte played with a quarterback by the name of Jay Cutler, who took Chicago to the NFC Championship Game in 2010 and was at one time a Pro-Bowler.
However, he is not on the same level as Williams.
That is why Bears fans should be thrilled about this season and beyond.
