The NFL Draft has given us some epic moments, with some players exceeding all expectations and others, well, not so much.
Needless to say, being taken before Patrick Mahomes is a tough weight to bear.
That’s the case with former Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross, who’s still looking to find his footing in the league.
According to a report by Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the former No. 9 pick is looking to make an NFL comeback again.

He’s going to participate in rookie minicamp with the Philadelphia Eagles on a tryout basis.
Back in 2017, he set the then-record for the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL Scouting Combine history at 4.22 seconds, a record that stood until new Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy broke it this offseason.
He’s just 28 years old, so he should still have something left in the tank, although being away from the game for this long may have taken a big toll on his game.
In five seasons with the Bengals and New York Giants, Ross hauled in 62 receptions for 957 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Eagles are absolutely stacked at wide receiver, but one can never have too much depth in such a physical league.
So, even if they will most likely favor younger players over him, he could get one final chance to prove he belongs in the NFL.
