With most teams already making their moves in free agency, all eyes are set on the upcoming edition of the NFL Draft.
As it happens every single year, there has been a never-ending debate about the players who should make up the top five.
There seems to be consensus with the No. 1 selection at least, but things get a little fuzzy from there.
However, that’s not the case with former NFL GM Mike Tannenbaum, who has already put together a list of his top-five picks (via First Take).

At No. 5, he chose Joe Alt out of Notre Dame, the son of former Kansas City Chiefs star, John Alt.
He could give the Los Angeles Chargers a much-needed boost on the offensive line, and they clearly need to protect Justin Herbert.
Then, he went with Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy, who he thinks the Arizona Cardinals should pursue.
He made a case for McCarthy being a better option than Kyler Murray, who’s injury-prone and making a lot of money.
Drake Maye got the nod at No. 3, so he would go to the New England Patriots in this scenario.
The Patriots need someone to take them over the hump, and Maye’s physical tools are more than remarkable.
Then, he chose LSU star Jayden Daniels, who would join Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
The Washington Commanders need to add more pieces around him, but this would be a nice start.
And unsurprisingly, he has Caleb Williams as the clear-cut No. 1 choice.
The Chicago Bears have never had a superstar quarterback, and he might be the one who changes that forever.
