The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers will square off next Monday for what might as well be the game of the year.
This could be a preview of the Super Bowl, considering both teams have been the best in their respective conferences, and it hasn’t been close.
The winner of this game will most likely secure the No. 1 seed in their conference, while the loser could still win out and get it.
Nonetheless, former NFL star Victor Cruz believes something else could be at stake, as he thinks whichever quarterback wins this game will end up taking the MVP award home (via The Carton Show).
“It’s a nice little precursor to the Super Bowl. The winner of this game determines which quarterback wins the MVP.”

Truth be told, he could be right on point.
Dak Prescott pretty much played his way out of the MVP race after the subpar performance vs. the Buffalo Bills, thus making it a two-way race between Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson.
Jackson hasn’t posted the most spectacular numbers in the game, but he’s played like the best QB in the league if you just consider the eye test.
He’s extending plays for as much time as he needs and making great reads in the pocket, thanks to his elite offensive line.
As for Purdy, people continue to wonder whether he’s a system quarterback or not, yet he continues to put up big numbers and make the most of his talented skill players to keep winning games.
And while the Niners are currently favored ahead of this game, it seems like anything can happen in a game like this.
