The San Francisco 49ers just made a statement on Thanksgiving.
They wanted everybody to know that they were back and they were not going anywhere.
Kyle Shanahan’s team pretty much manhandled the Seattle Seahawks at home in a game that could’ve cost them the top spot in the NFC West Division.
With that in mind, former NFL QB David Carr raved about how they’re the best team in football when they’re fully loaded, stating that they don’t have any glaring weakness all across the board (via NFL GameDay).

Carr stated that Chase Young’s addition has only made their defensive line get to a whole new level, as they can now have four pass rushers in the defensive line and get to the quarterback and collapse the pocket with ease, which was evident with their six sacks yesterday.
On top of that, having Christian McCaffrey has pretty much unleashed their offense, allowing Shanahan to run so many different things, especially with a QB who’s tailor-made for his system.
Carr called Brock Purdy a ‘diamond in the rough’ and talked about how he can help this team run an efficient offense at all levels, which is something not many people give him credit for.
The Philadelphia Eagles continue to have the best record in the NFC, and they do look like the team to beat in the conference.
But this Niners defense is peaking at the right time, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them punch their ticket to the big game this season.
