For years, NFL fans have held the Spygate scandal against Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots.
Some believe there’s just no way Belichick or Brady could be considered the greatest of all time after this scandal, as it came out like cheating.
Spygate was a scandal involving Belichick’s Patriots after the league discovered they had footage of multiple teams.
They used the tape to pick up opposing teams’ signs and signals.
Needless to say, there was no way this topic wouldn’t be addressed in the new 10-episode documentary by Apple TV+: The Dynasty.
With that in mind, Kay Adams asked director Matthew Hamachek whether he had uncovered some secrets after interviewing Patriots’ lifelong staffer Ernie Adams (Via Up & Adams).
Hamachek, however, claimed that Adams said that he would take some things to the grave with him.
“There’s certain things I’ll be taking to the grave with me…”

There have been several rumors and reports about this scandal going deeper than the league actually reported.
Of course, Brady and Belichick went on to win again after this, but it feels like their legacy will always be stained by this.
Also, with the Deflategate scandal taking place later in Brady’s career, that’s just not a good look for the Patriots’ dynasty.
Whether they cheated or needed to cheat to find success is something fans will always debate.
However, it seems like there’s just too much more to this story, and we might never know the truth.
