The Minnesota Vikings have one job to do, and that is to get their best player his money and security.
Three-time All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson is not with the team at the start of OTAs while he waits for a major contract extension.
Former Super Bowl champion and Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings had this to say recently on The Carton Show about the situation with his old team and their star wide receiver:
“He’s only provided value to that organization and that team, so I expect something to get done. You cannot let Justin Jefferson go,” Jennings said.

Justin Jefferson is not just the best player on the Minnesota Vikings.
He is one of the best overall players in the entire NFL.
He is arguably the best wide receiver in the league.
His 5,899 career receiving yards are the most through a player’s first four seasons in NFL history.
The former national champion has recorded at least 1,400 receiving yards in three of his four career seasons, and when he didn’t (2023), he still managed to record over 1,000 yards after playing in just 10 games.
The Vikings need to give Jefferson whatever he wants.
He is deserving of every penny, and Minnesota should know that.
They also should know that rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who was drafted at No. 10 overall in the NFL Draft earlier this offseason, will need all the help he can get in his first NFL season.
Getting Jefferson back on the practice field would be huge for his NFL development.
