It is certainly fair to say that Dallas Cowboys star edge-rusher Micah Parsons is one of the great players in all of the NFL.
His numbers and overall play speak for themselves.
While recently on The Carton Show, analyst and former Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress had this to say about Parson’s being considered a great player:
“It will never be good enough until he wins a championship in Dallas,” Burress stated.
“Micah Parsons is right. It will never be good enough until he wins a championship in Dallas.”

To start off his NFL career, Parsons has made three All-Pro teams in three seasons.
In 2021, he was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year after recording 13.0 sacks, 30 quarterback hits and 20 tackles for loss.
The following season, he put up 13.5 sacks and added in three forced fumbles for the second consecutive year.
In 2023, Parsons once again set a career-high in sacks with 14.0 and quarterback hits with 33.
Statistically speaking, he is an unbelievable player and is still just 25 years of age.
The Cowboys have been a great regular season team winning 12 games in each of the last three regular seasons.
However, they have just one win when it has mattered in the postseason over those three years.
Like the team, Parsons has also underperformed.
He has just one career sack in four playoff games.
That simply is not good enough for someone of his caliber.
It will never be good enough for any great player until they win a championship.
For Dallas to have a prayer at reaching the mountaintop this year and beyond, Parsons will need to be his dominant self in both the regular season and the postseason.
This is assuming Dallas can work out an extension with him.
