After winning Super Bowl LVIII, the Kansas City Chiefs should officially be considered a dynasty.
The Chiefs overcame a first-half deficit to overcome the San Francisco 49ers, proving that they show up when the lights are brightest.
The win against San Francisco gave Patrick Mahomes his third Super Bowl ring and bolstered his case in the best quarterback of all-time debate.
There’s no one left in the NFL that can match Mahomes’ accolades, and what makes it even more impressive is that he was able to do it with fewer offensive weapons.
However, Mahomes’ critics believe that he’s simply padding stats to make himself look better on paper against the competition.
Mahomes’ former teammate Mitchell Schwartz came to his defense and urged Chiefs fans not to engage with the critics via his personal Twitter account.
“KC ppl please stop interacting with those doing the “Pat is a checkdown king and stat padder.” They’re not making real arguments and if you try to have a well reasoned conversation they aren’t there for that. Block them and move along so you don’t have to see their BS anymore,” Schwartz tweeted.

Social media is full of people firing off takes that are questionable at best, and Schwartz has apparently seen enough.
Mahomes doesn’t seem like the type of player to just boost his own stats, though fans of teams he’s beaten will try anything to tear him down.
Kansas City and Mahomes are drawing the ire of the rest of the league, though it happens when teams win as much as they have.
