This is pretty much a do-or-die season for Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy, especially for Prescott in particular.
The Dallas Cowboys have won 12 games each of the last three seasons with only one playoff win coming in total.
That is just not good enough, especially when Jerry Jones is the boss.
If things don’t go well for Prescott this year, who is just 2-5 in the playoffs in his career, he could very well end up on another team next year.
Former NFL wide receiver Plaxico Burress believes that team is in Florida.
“If they do not make the playoffs…Dak Prescott will not be the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys next year. He will be the quarterback of the Miami Dolphins,” Burress predicted on “The Carton Show.”

That is a very bold thought coming from Burress.
It is hard to say if Dallas will make the playoffs or not this year.
If they can figure out some of their contract issues with star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and star edge-rusher Micah Parsons, this team is still good enough to make the playoffs.
However, a Super Bowl run seems unlikely given the recent history of the franchise.
On the Dolphins side of things, they have made the playoffs twice in a row but have yet to win a playoff game with Tua Tagovailoa.
It would not be a surprise at all if the Dolphins cut ties with their quarterback if he had a down year.
That team is too talented to fail so easily.
So, if Prescott is not with the Cowboys next year, it isn’t a totally unlikely thought that he could be a Dolphin.
