It’s been quite a while since the Dallas Cowboys last found success in the playoffs.
Nonetheless, they’ve been knocking on the door for some time now, so it feels like they’re just due for a breakout.
At least, that’s what former NFL player Willie Colon seems to think.
Talking on “The Carton Show” during a fun exercise, he claimed that it’s more likely that the Cowboys make it all the way to the NFC Championship Game than to see Justin Herbert winning the first playoff game of his career next season.

He believes that Dak Prescott will continue to get better under Mike McCarthy next season after posting the best numbers of his career in 2023.
Of course, the Cowboys are absolutely stacked on both sides of the field, so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise to see them going the distance.
Then again, they do have a long history of shortcomings, and that’s also the case with Prescott and McCarthy.
Prescott will also get a massive raise in his salary, and it’s not like he’s a third-year player who’s going to keep developing; he’s been in the league for years now.
This team is ready to compete at the highest level, and there’s no more room or place for excuses anymore with the kind of roster they’ve put together.
Otherwise, it would be hard to make a case for coach McCarthy keeping his job.
