The Kansas City Chiefs continue to find a way.
Even in a year that many counted them out, a season in which the Chiefs didn’t look their best, they still made it to the Super Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes seems to rally the troops in key moments, a trait that is held in high regard.
Mark Schlereth appeared on The Carton Show to discuss what he saw from Mahomes this weekend.
“The miraculous happens every day, we just get used to it. Patrick Mahomes is absolutely amazing,” Schlereth said.

While many analysts counted Mahomes and the Chiefs out ahead of this game, including Craig Carton, the Chiefs still beat the Baltimore Ravens.
Mahomes finished the game by completing 30 of 39 passes, throwing for 241 yards and one touchdown.
While he didn’t necessarily need a 300+ yard game to beat the Ravens, he did enough and mitigated enough mistakes to come away from the game with a victory.
Mahomes is one of the most highly-regarded quarterbacks in the NFL, and his playoff experience helps get him through tough situations.
It is always difficult to win the Super Bowl, but when you have as much experience as Mahomes does, it is easier to live more in the moment.
Hopefully, this will allow him to play much looser against the San Francisco 49ers in the title game.
A win in that game would bring Mahomes’ ring count to three, bringing him that much closer to catching Tom Brady, who ended his career with seven Super Bowl rings.
