Bijan Robinson entered the league last season as the 8th overall pick with astronomical hype that was on par with other recent running backs taken in the top 10, including Saquon Barkley, Ezekiel Elliott, and Leonard Fournette, and he did not disappoint.
Even with the team running a frustrating offense that often used its best weapons as decoys, Bijan had a strong rookie year and has one former player praising him for being the best back in football already.
Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress recently said on The Carton Show that “Bijan Robinson, with the ball in his hands, I think he’s the best running back in football” and added that he could have a Chris Johnson type of season with 2,500 yards if he gets fed more this year.

Plaxico believes the Falcons have the best offense in the NFC South, which should be the case now that Kirk Cousins is under center with all these weapons at his disposal.
Many believed that the Falcons were just a quarterback away last year, as the defense was improved and the offense had a solid offensive line and young top-10 picks all over the field at running back, wide receiver, and tight end.
Robinson put up 964 yards and four touchdowns on the ground last season while catching 58 passes for another 487 yards and four touchdowns, and many fans were clamoring for more as Tyler Allgeier received 186 carries to Bijan’s 214, making it essentially an even timeshare in the backfield.
With a new coaching staff, expect big things from Robinson in Year 2.
