Last season was a bit of a roller coaster for the Green Bay Packers, but it’s safe to say it was a positive one.
Following some early-season struggles, Matt LaFleur’s team was able to rally and finish the season on a high note.
Jordan Love was one of the best quarterbacks in the game over the final month or so, proving that he can be their guy for the future.
With that in mind, former NFL player Chris Canty believes he’s the next young quarterback who’s going to win a Super Bowl.
Talking on the UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio Show on ESPN radio, Canty argued that history is on Love’s side, as both Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers won a Super Bowl in their sixth year in the league, and that it’s going to be Love’s sixth season.

More than that, he pointed out the fact that Love led all quarterbacks in rating in the final stretch of the campaign, adding that he just doesn’t see him making the same mistakes he made late in the NFC Divisional Round game vs. the San Francisco 49ers.
He also thinks the Packers’ supporting cast will only continue to grow and get better, and their postseason experience is going to do wonders for their development.
Love looked poised and calmed through thick and thin last season.
That unfazed nature helped him dominate and lead his team when it counted.
Now, he has to prove that it wasn’t a fluke and that he’s, indeed, the next great Packers QB.
