The New York Giants have a very important decision to make in a week.
They currently hold the No. 6 pick in the draft, a position that gives them a lot of options.
Several analysts have suggested the Giants take an offensive lineman or a wide receiver, which would greatly help build the team around Daniel Jones.
While this might seem like common sense or the right answer to some, others have indicated that the Giants should move on from Jones.
There is speculation that the Giants could either trade up for a quarterback or take one at their current draft position.
Logan Ryan recently appeared on NFL Live on ESPN, where he made a public plea to the Giants not to move up.
“New Yorkers, if you are listening, don’t trade up to No. 4 and get J.J. McCarthy,” Ryan said.

Ryan believes the team has bigger fish to fry, and trading up to No. 4 from No. 6 is a hefty asking price.
He also indicated that he doesn’t believe a quarterback like McCarthy, Bo Nix, or Michael Penix Jr. is as good as Jones.
Jones has had shortcomings during his first few years with the team, and after he signed a massive contract extension, he hasn’t necessarily provided the value the team initially expected.
The Giants were a playoff team in 2022, but after their steep dropoff in production in 2023, the team could be desperate to make changes.
Ryan doesn’t think this should cause them to take a quarterback in this year’s draft, but instead, to pursue someone else in free agency should Jones not get better next season.
