The San Francisco 49ers added yet more pieces to their behemoth of a team.
Getting a former Defensive Rookie of the Year like Chase Young for just a third-round pick was a massive win, and props to GM John Lynch for making moves to keep improving the team.
Notably, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes other people are overlooking the potential impact Young could have in San Francisco.
In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Johnson stated that he believes Young is finally healthy and coming together after struggling with so many injuries early in his career.

Despite the skepticism, Johnson believes the Niners didn’t trade for him just because of his upside but also for the way he’s been playing for the Washington Commanders this season, stating that he has five sacks in seven games and has been a physical presence.
Johnson believes all teams, and especially the Dallas Cowboys, should be quite concerned about the Niners’ defensive line depth, adding that they’re going to find snaps for all of their guys.
Young and Nick Bosa used to play together at Ohio State, and that’s also a factor they should consider.
That’s why Johnson believes they’re just a couple of tweaks to their defensive scheme away from getting back to their winning and dominant ways, and that’s obviously terrible news for the rest of the NFC.
The Niners hit a bit of a bump, but good teams always figure things out, and this is as good as any team could get.
