It is always fun to look back at retired NFL players and their careers to fully understand how great they truly were.
One of those great players, who is retired now, is former Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley.
The three-time All-Pro running back retired after just six NFL seasons due to knee injuries.
Those six seasons were incredibly productive.
According to NFL on CBS, Gurley still has the seventh-most touchdowns scored in the NFL since 2015 (79).

He was truly one of the most dominant offensive players in the game during his career, mostly with the Los Angeles Rams.
The former Georgia Bulldog rushed for 1,000 yards in three of his five seasons with the Rams while recording over 1,000 scrimmage yards in all five seasons with the franchise.
He was also a touchdown machine during his career as evidenced by his 79 total touchdowns.
He led the league in total touchdowns in both 2017 (19) and 2018 (21).
If it wasn’t for Gurley, who knows if the Rams make a Super Bowl appearance in 2018?
After his five-year stint with the Rams, he joined the Atlanta Falcons in 2020.
Now, he wasn’t as productive with them (842 scrimmage yards), but he did add in 9 touchdowns to the stat sheet.
It is truly incredible that he is seventh on this list and ahead of players like Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins, who have each been in the league for over a decade.
Although his career was short, the former first-round draft pick was an incredibly productive player at his height.
