Things happen fast in the National Football League, and one team’s trash could be another team’s treasure.
That’s why it didn’t take long before Denzel Mims found himself a new home.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars just days after being released.

The former second-round pick signed with the Steelers practice squad last season but failed to make a single appearance.
Thus far, Mims has made 30 appearances — all for the Jets — logging 42 grabs for 676 yards.
He had a promising rookie season with 23 receptions for 357 yards, but the former No. 59 pick failed to build from that.
Now, he’ll join a team that also signed Gabriel Davis and Devin Duvernay and drafted Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round of the NFL Draft.
And with Christian Kirk likely being Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target, he’s going to have to grind and fight for every touch.
The Jaguars will desperately look to bounce back after a disappointing campaign in 2023.
Lawrence didn’t continue his ascent as a potential star, and they let a lead in the divisional race slip right through their fingers late in the campaign.
So, Mims will have little to no margin for error on Doug Pederson’s team, and this might be his final chance in the league.
