The New York Giants have a tall task for their Week 5 matchup.
They are slated to face off against the Miami Dolphins this week, a team currently on fire.
The Dolphins currently lead the NFL with 37.5 points scored per game.
Tua Tagovailoa has found a rhythm with his receivers, resulting in great success and high-scoring games, a nightmare for opposing defenses.
Ahead of this matchup, Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale spoke about his preparation.
Per Martindale via Giants Videos on Twitter, “Every two hours, I wake up and cry, go to the bathroom, and try to go back and get some sleep.”
Wink Martindale says he’s been “sleeping like a baby” in preparation for the Dolphins:

While these comments were made in jest, the Giants’ defense will be tested this week.
They have allowed at least 24 points in each game this season, including a 40-point performance against the Dallas Cowboys.
If the Dolphins’ offense shows up in a big way, the Giants’ defense could be in serious trouble.
Thankfully for the Giants, they have a few dynamic playmakers on their side of the ball that could help try and slow the Dolphins down.
Dexter Lawrence, Bobby Okereke, and Kayvon Thibodeaux are primed and ready to give this game their all.
Despite these defensive stars, the Giants aren’t given much chance to win this game due to their recent blowout losses.
Many sportsbooks have the Dolphins as 11-point favorites, indicating that Las Vegas believes this will be a severely lopsided game.
Can Martindale’s defense pull off a miracle, stopping Miami’s potent offense in their tracks?
