When Kirk Cousins fell to injury, many believed the Minnesota Vikings were in trouble.
Cousins had been their rock at the quarterback position for several years, and after a slow start to the year, started to turn their season around.
Thankfully for Vikings fans, Josh Dobbs has been a suitable replacement that has reignited a fire in the fanbase.
Dobbs has played less than two full games for the Vikings, and as SportsCenter recently pointed out, he has the same amount of touchdowns this year as Zach Wilson.

Both quarterbacks have accounted for five touchdowns on the year.
The difference? Wilson has played in every game for the New York Jets, while Dobbs has less than two full games under his belt for the Vikings.
Whether this is a testament to Dobbs’ dominance or Wilson’s lackluster start remains to be seen.
If fan reactions are any indication, however, it appears to lean more towards Dobbs’ strong play than anything.
In the Vikings’ most recent win over the New Orleans Saints, Dobbs threw for 268 yards and a touchdown, adding a rushing touchdown to his daily total.
If he can keep this up, the Vikings might just be able to sneak into the playoffs despite an incredibly poor start to the year.
They still have plenty of beatable opponents on their schedule, including the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, and Las Vegas Raiders.
With two games against the Detroit Lions yet to play, however, Dobbs might get tested to a greater length against a spectacular defensive front.
