The New England Patriots haven’t been the same team since Tom Brady left.
That shouldn’t be much of a surprise, but with all the talk about Bill Belichick being one of the greatest, if not the greatest, coaches in NFL history, it’s still a bit shocking.
The Patriots have only won three games this season, and it’s been 14 Weeks.
However, as crazy as it may seem, the Patriots can still mathematically make the playoffs.
As shown in a graphic shared by CBS Sports and Kevin Wildes, the odds are quite slim, but not zero.
Might as well win the whole darn thing (via @CBSSports) pic.twitter.com/Z82gKp24XS

They ‘just’ need to win their next four games vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.
On top of that, they need the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans to lose out.
Oh, and they need the Cincinnati Bengals to lose all of their games except the one vs. the Steelers.
Then, they need the Denver Broncos to lose all of their games except for their rematch vs. the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16.
Last but not least, they need the Bills to lose all of their games except the one vs. the Chargers.
And that’s it! The Patriots would make the playoffs at 7-10 and clinch the seventh seed.
Easy peasy.
Safe to say that it’s pretty much impossible that the perfect storm hits and the Patriots are back in the playoffs, but hey, we’ve seen Bill Belichick work his magic way too many times.
