For years, NFL fans have waited for Tom Brady to take the next step in his career.
He signed a very lucrative ten-year deal with FOX to become an analyst for the NFL after he retired.
Then, he decided to take a break while he got ready to pursue this new challenge.
In the meantime, retired tight end Greg Olsen emerged as an excellent analyst.
That’s why, for months, Brady’s arrival with FOX has been a major talking point in the industry.
With that in mind, Olsen told Dan Patrick that his aspirations haven’t changed in the slightest since he started this new endeavor.
The Carolina Panthers great admitted that he still wants to call top games and be out there in the biggest moments of the season, and he’ll do everything in his power to make sure that’s the case (Via Awful Announcing).
“I wanna call top games,” Olsen said. “I wanna call games in front of 57 million people and dive into the biggest moments.”

Then again, Olsen admitted he’s not going to be out there making demands and whatnot, as he was always fully aware of the fact that the legendary quarterback would eventually join the team, and he knows there’s a bit of a hierarchy.
He’s open to being moved somewhere else and calling top games on a different network, but he claimed he’s going to cross that bridge when he gets there.
Truth be told, Olsen has become quite an enjoyable figure in the industry, and while Brady will get all of the attention, FOX will most definitely keep him involved in some sort of way.
