The Philadelphia Eagles are entering a new era.
Two of their beloved veterans in All-Pro center Travis Kelce and All-Pro defensive tackle Fletcher Cox retired earlier this offseason.
GM Howie Roseman appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” Thursday to chat about the current state of the Eagles franchise and the significance of losing a player like Kelce, specifically.
“You don’t replace that, and I think that it would be disingenuous to even pretend like we’re going to replace Jason Kelce. The person and the player. This is a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer,” Roseman stated.
“You don’t replace Jason Kelce and he’s a first ballot Hall of Famer..
He’s an incredible person on and off the field”

Simply put, Kelce is one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history.
The six-time First-Team All-Pro was the heart and soul of the Eagles for over a decade.
He helped lead them to their first Super Bowl win in 2017 and set them up for contention for years to come.
If there are any future NFL players out there who get picked in the later rounds of the draft, their goal should be to handle themselves like Kelce did for so many years.
The former 6th-rounder did everything the right way for a long, long time.
He and Cox both.
Roseman also mentioned that it will be difficult to try and replace Cox.
The four-time All-Pro is a member of the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team.
Out of his 12 career NFL seasons, the Super Bowl champ played eight full seasons, which is remarkable for an interior defensive lineman.
Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni will have their work cut out for them this year.
