Tom Brady’s future appears to be in television broadcasting after he signed a massive 10-year deal with Fox Sports following his retirement from the NFL.
But while Brady didn’t call any games this year, it sounds as if he’s preparing to step into the broadcast booth in 2024.
Front Office Sports’ Michael McCarthy reported Monday that Brady has met with Fox executives and spoken with peers in the industry like Erin Andrews and former Fox announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who now call “Monday Night Football” for ESPN.
“Tom is approaching this like he approached the game,” a source told McCarthy. “From what I gather, he isn’t just cruising on his name.”
Bad news for Greg Olsen fans.
The , Tom Brady, is putting in serious practice reps to prepare for Fox’s No. 1 TV job.

This sounds about right for Brady, who was known as one of the most-prepared quarterbacks in the NFL during his 23 years in the league that included seven Super Bowl rings.
Once he does step into the booth, he’ll immediately be competing for the top spot in the network with former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.
Even more important, though, is that Super Bowl LIX will be broadcasted on Fox – meaning Brady could potentially be calling the Super Bowl in 2025 in his first season as a color analyst for the network.
Fox hired Brady because of his fame and football acumen.
Now, it’s time for the legendary quarterback to prove he can take his otherworldly talents off the field and into the broadcast booth.
And if his NFL career is an indication of how good he can be calling NFL games, it’s sure to be must-watch television.
