The Miami Dolphins have been cruising during the 2023 NFL season as they’ve been scoring the football better than anyone else in the league.
After an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 4, the Dolphins have bounced back with blowout wins against the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers.
Miami’s offense is humming at a level the league hasn’t seen in a long time, but the defense has also done its part to ensure that the team wins games.
In the offseason, the Dolphins decided to trade for former All-Pro defensive back Jalen Ramsey in order to add some more versatility and toughness to that group.
Ramsey has yet to make his debut, though, as he recovers from offseason knee surgery.
However, it sounds like Ramsey is going to return sooner than expected as he is ahead of his rehab via Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Six-time Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey is far ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery and could return to practice with the #Dolphins as soon as this week, per sources.

This is obviously great news for Ramsey and the Dolphins as he wasn’t expected to be back until later in the year.
Ramsey was a staple in the Los Angeles Rams’ secondary but he also spent a lot of time near the line of scrimmage either rushing the passer or helping out in the run game.
His physicality, instincts, and IQ should only help Miami’s defense and he is a legitimate game-changer on that end.
The organization is doing the right thing by ramping him up gradually in order to avoid any possibility of re-injury, but fans must be excited for Ramsey to finally set foot on the practice field.
