As of right now, all anyone can talk about when referring to the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft is the talented young quarterbacks that are coming out of the college game and where they might land in the first round of the draft or beyond.
Quarterbacks like Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and J.J. McCarthy have dominated the conversations over the last few weeks, as some of those players could be game-changers on the NFL level.
However, one aspect of the upcoming draft that has been overlooked lately is how deep this draft class is when it comes to the wide receiver position, with players like Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers potentially being star receivers right out of the gate in the 2024 NFL season.
Although Harrison has gotten a lot of buzz for potentially being the first wide receiver off the board on April 25, Nabers is starting to make some noise as a player that could also be taken near the start of the first round, as Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network points out.
“Multiple teams have Malik Nabers as WR1 on their board,” Wolfe said.

With the top-three teams in the upcoming draft likely drafting quarterbacks, in the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots, the first team that might roll the dice on a wide receiver is the Arizona Cardinals at No. 4 or the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 5.
There’s a chance that both of these teams take wide receivers, with the Chargers and Cardinals both having a need at the position and being secure at quarterback with Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray, respectively.
